Aftercare precautions for stem cell treatment — JM Dermatology
- For about one week after treatment, avoid saunas and bathhouses, alcohol, and smoking.
- Makeup can generally be applied after treatment, and daily life is generally not affected.
- Swelling may last about 1–2 weeks and varies by individual.
- Cold compresses can ease swelling, but it is best to avoid them where possible to support cell activation.
- Keep your body warm to support healthy blood circulation after treatment.
- Apply sunscreen thoroughly before going out and indoors, and use a moisturizing cream to prevent dryness.
- Stay well hydrated and eat plenty of fresh foods such as seasonal fruit and vegetables; vitamin supplements can also help.
- Avoid steroids, anti-inflammatory drugs, medicated patches, and herbal medicine for about two weeks, as they may interfere with regeneration. If you must take medication that could affect cell treatment, be sure to consult our medical staff.
